Do I need to pre-book?
There is no need to pre-book although you can purchase tickets online here
Are you accessible?
We try to be as accessible as possible but in wet weather our grass fields can be tricky to navigate. We have a disabled toilet and ramps. Please contact us if you have any additional needs and we will try our best to accommodate you.
What should I wear?
We recommend sensible footwear and suitable outdoor clothing which caters for typical British weather! Some of our paths are on grass and can get muddy – plus we have some free range animals! We provide a free welly exchange where you can swap smaller sized wellies for bigger ones to take home, or borrow whilst you are at the farm.
Are dogs allowed at the farm?
Yes we allow well behaved dogs as long as they are kept on a short lead at all times.
Can I feed the animals?
Yes you can feed all of our animals except for the ponies and donkeys. Please do not hand feed the pigs. Animal food is available for sale in buckets at £1 each. Please always remember to wash your hands after touching our animals.
Can I bring my own picnic?
Yes you are welcome to bring your own food but please ensure this is only eaten in our designated eating area outside the tea room. Please remember to wash your hands before and after consuming your food. We also have a well stocked tea room providing hot drinks, sandwiches/pasties, ice creams and homemade cakes.
I am a National Trust member can I get in for free?
Although we are National Trust farming tenants, we are a separate family business meaning a separate admission fee applies.
Can I come for something to eat and drink without paying entry?
Yes of course, if you are just after a hot drink and piece of homemade cake you are welcome to utilise our tea room and picnic area.
Do you offer season tickets?
Yes we do, prices can be found here. If you plan to visit the farm more than five times this will be the most cost effective way to visit the farm.
